Matthew Flint

Matthew Flint is the Founder and CEO of BLAST GLOBAL MEDIA. BLAST is a boutique, global in scale company with a mission to provide industry-changing innovation to elevate creative content finishing with expertise and cutting-edge technology. BLAST’S competitive edge is the pioneering workplace culture that is rooted in transparent communication, inclusivity, and respect.

Previously, Matthew served as the Executive Vice President of Picture Head. As one of the original members, he played an instrumental role in shaping the company. Under his leadership it became one of the best in class for marketing campaign finishing. He played an instrumental role in a number of initiatives at Picture Head to grow services and expand its market share, including the development of a sophisticated 4K data-centric DI workflow for film and television projects, and the company’s global expansion for post-production marketing.

Flint began his artistic endeavors as the founder of the San Francisco based Citadel Theatre. His love of film led him to Los Angeles where he worked in the film and television industry for over 25 years as a producer of feature films, television, documentaries and commercials with his partner and BLAST co-founder Dorsay Alavi.

Flint currently resides in Pasadena, California with his wife and business partner Dorsay Alavi, his daughter Caspian and their Yorkshire terrier, Finch.
